Darshé began as a quiet idea in 2018, a feeling more than a plan, a whisper that stayed with you through your earliest sketches, classes, and experiments in design. What started as curiosity slowly transformed into devotion, learning fabrics, studying construction, discovering how memory and material can speak to each other. Over the years, this early dream kept evolving, shaped by discipline, inspiration and an instinct for storytelling. By 2021, that once gentle spark matured into a clear and grounded vision. Darshé emerged as a slow-luxury label rooted in emotion, intimacy and the belief that true beauty is found in patience rather than speed.
Today, Darshé stands as a memory-driven brand where craft and feeling come together with intention. Every piece is created with quiet purpose, poetic, tactile and timeless. The label moves beyond trends, honoring rarity and story, made for those who seek meaning and the gentle power of understated elegance.

Meet The Founder
Niya S. Kumar’s journey began at the age of nine, when she hand-stitched a tiny dress for her little cousin using only a needle, thread and a piece of muslin. It was a small creation, but it carried a quiet magic, the first hint of the world she would one day step into. That moment planted a seed, a gentle pull toward craft and imagination.
Life initially led her into engineering, a path chosen with practicality, but her heart kept returning to the rhythm of making. In 2018, she enrolled in a diploma in fashion designing, and everything clicked into place. She recognised her true direction, shifted her path and went on to pursue her bachelor’s degree in fashion designing - a decision that aligned her with her earliest spark.
After completing her studies, she worked as a fashion stylist, designer and quality auditor. Each role shaped her eye, refined her discipline and gave her a deeper understanding of how craft, technique and precision come together.
Today, she brings all of this into Darshé - a label born from intention, memory and the kind of craftsmanship that grows from years of quiet devotion.
